イングランド/ノーザンプトン拠点のインディーロックアーティスト Freya Roseが、1/23にBird From The Futureからリリースしたニューシングル 'It's Not A Race To The End'を公開！
2021年にデビューEP『Sadhead』、2023年にデビューアルバム『Girlhood』を発表。T'Pauのサポートアクトを務め、Wynona Bleach, Nancy Dawkins, Goodbyeらと共演してます。
今回のシングルは2/20発売のニューアルバム『Learning How To Live』収録曲で、共同プロデュースは Chris Butler, Mark Cann。
死、精神性、宗教への恐怖を探求し、より偉大な何かを信じたいと思いながらも、それが叶わないという葛藤を描いた一曲。
“Ever since I was little, I’ve always felt this looming fear of death. I was raised in a household that never believed in spirituality, yet had family and friends with whom it led their life. As an incredibly anxious person, believing in life after death sounds like an enormous relief, but I just can’t bring myself to. This song explores all of that fear and anxiety and puts bouncy guitars behind it just for fun.”
