Fan Girl、'flood'を公開

オーストラリア/メルボルン拠点のインディーロックバンド Fan Girlが、10/17にリリースしたニューシングル 'flood'を公開！

9月発売のEP『real or staged』をひっさげ現在UKツアー中で Pom Poko, The Wytchesのサポートも含まれてます。

EPのお蔵入り曲にしてもツアー中に新曲って不思議だなーって思ったら、以下のコメントを読む限り色々大変だったようですね。

“Tracked in the depths of a cold rainy Melbourne winter at the band’s studio in Brunswick Australia, the stems were then shipped off via FedEx (shoutout FedEx) to the magnificent Andy Savours (Sorry, My Bloody Valentine, Black Country New Road), who received a broken box full of missing stems (fuck you FedEx) and somehow mangled them into a mix. After a lengthy court case with FedEx, FedEx then express shipped (shoutout FedEx) the parcel safely to Felix Davis (Folly Group, Do Nothing, Porridge Radio), who did whatever mastering is, and did it very well indeed.”

冷たい雨の降るメルボルンの冬の真っただ中、オーストラリア・ブランズウィックにあるバンドのスタジオで録音されたステムは、FedEx（FedExに感謝）を通じて、偉大なるAndy Savours（Sorry, My Bloody Valentine, Black Country New Road）に送られた。彼は、壊れた箱に入っていたステムの欠片（FedExのクソ野郎）を受け取り、ミックスに混ぜ込んでしまったのだ。FedExとの長い裁判の後、FedExは小包をFelix Davis（Folly Group, Do Nothing, Porridge Radio）へと無事に速達（FedExに感謝）した後、彼はマスタリングを担当し、実にうまくやってのけた。
