イングランド出身のオルタナティヴポップデュオ Emberが、4/5にAMENO RECORDSからリリースしたニューシングル 'What About Us'を公開！
Emberは Becky, Jasonの2人組。
必要最低限のものだけで最大の魅力を発揮する、このシンプルさで勝負して突き抜けてる。イントロのピアノでしっかり引き込まれるし、メロディーが美しいですね。Oh Wonderが好きな人におすすめ。
“We wanted to create something emotional but without complicating the track. Repeating lyrics hammering home the simple question. Are we really thinking about our relationship? Are we forgetting who we were? We really enjoyed writing and recording this one - with stripped back production but enough to give it depth. We really hope people like it, it’s one of our favourites!”
感情的なものを作りたかったが、トラックを複雑にすることはなかった。繰り返される歌詞は、シンプルな問いを突きつけてくる。私たちは本当に私たちの関係について考えているのだろうか？自分たちのことを忘れてはいないだろうか？この曲の作曲とレコーディングは本当に楽しかった。シンプルなプロダクションではあるが、それだけで十分な深みを持たせた。私たちのお気に入りの一つだから、皆さんに喜んでもらえることを本当に願っています！
