イングランド/ブリストル拠点のオルタナティヴロックバンド Dwellが、1/13にFire Talk傘下のOpen Tabからリリースしたニューシングル 'So Slow'を公開！
Dwellは Toby Ijbema, George Thornton, Issy Rose, Louis Cherniavsky, Emma Mares Coulstonの5人組。ポストパンク、シューゲイザー、スロウコアのミックスで独特の雰囲気を形成するのが魅力的なバンドです。
1:25から始まるパートの左右のギターとサックスが最高だし、後半のリフレインもいい。街の灯りに照らされた水面がたゆたうような演奏ですね。
Open Tabはアーティストの未発表トラックを毎月1曲リリースし、短いインタビューとミックスも合わせて掲載するプラットフォームです。
“So Slow is a song about perseverance and eventually finding the light and relief at the end of an internal struggle. Songwriting and making music together is a key part of that personal process for each of us, so writing a song that reflects this feels like the perfect reflection of who we are as a band.”
So Slowは、忍耐と、やがて内なる葛藤の果てに光と安堵を見出すことを歌った曲です。曲作りと一緒に音楽を作ることは、私達にとって個人的なプロセスの重要な部分なので、これを反映した曲を書くことは、バンドとしての私達を完璧に反映していると感じています。
