スコットランド/グラスゴー拠点のパンク・ラップデュオ Dossが、12/8にリリースしたニューシングル 'King of the Castle'を公開！
Dossは Sorley Mackayによるソロプロジェクトとして始まり、現在は兄弟の Brodie Mackayを加えた2人組。これまでに DEADLETTER, Sinead O Brien, SpizzEnergi, SNAYXのサポートを務めてます。
'King of the Castle'は来年発売予定のデビューEP『Bootlicker』収録曲。

“Lyrically, ‘King of the Castle’ is a satire on the ego. The whole tune bigs myself and Doss up as this over-important entity that commands your attention. The inspiration came from social media and observing the semi-narcissistic tendencies of bands, artists, and people constantly wanking themselves off. There’s a real lack of humbleness and not taking oneself too seriously. People want fame, admiration, and clout. I find it a bit lame to have to create a mad shrine of me in order to get it—like pretending you’re God’s gift to music or something. Just be yaself, and have a laugh.” - Sorley Mackay
