スコットランド拠点のオルタナティヴフォークバンド Constant Followerが、8/9にLast Night From Glasgowからリリースしたニューシングル 'Whole Be'のMVを公開！

Constant Followerはソングライター Stephen McAllを中心に結成したバンド。
2020年発表のデビューアルバム『Neither Is, Nor Ever Was』、2023年発表の Scott William Urquhartとのコラボアルバム『Even Days Dissolve』は、いずれもScottish Album of the Year Awardにノミネートされてます。
'Whole Be'は来年2月発売予定のニューアルバム『The Smile You Send Out Returns To You』収録曲。

“Whole Be is a meditation on identity and existence, exploring the paradox of being 'whole' while acknowledging our inherent imperfections. It resonates with the idea that our efforts to achieve completeness are what define us, even if the end goal remains elusive. My thinking behind the song also touched on the temptations of alcohol/substance use as temporary relief for those feelings of incompleteness. I was thinking about how these substances can provide a fleeting sense of wholeness, yet ultimately leave us searching for a more profound and lasting completeness.”
