オーストラリア/ブリスベン拠点のオルタナティヴポップアーティスト clnが、10/3にリリースしたニューシングル 'Monday Morning'を公開！
clnはソングライター・プロデューサー Callan Alexanderによるプロジェクト。オルタナティヴR&Bとポップスを混ぜたスタイルが特徴の人気アーティストです。
2010年代中頃に Shallou, Golden Vessel辺りと一緒に颯爽と現れた印象の人で、Flumeの影響下にあるサウンドから変化していってるのが頼もしいし、聴いてて楽しいですね。
“This song is about grief. I won’t go into too much detail, I prefer the listener to interpret the lyrics for themselves, but essentially it’s about the feeling of your life being turned upside down by something completely out of your control. Unfortunately, grief is something that everyone has to experience at some point, and one of my ways of coping with it is to write songs. I tried to keep this one fairly stripped back and minimal, letting each element breathe and speak for itself. I have a tendency to cram too many elements into a song, so this year I have been trying to force myself to simplify things a little bit, and focus more on my songwriting.” - cln
