カナダ/ビクトリア拠点のシンガーソングライター Christopher Atkinsが、6/30にリリースしたニューシングル 'Don't Mind The Cold'のMVを公開！

演奏に Alexander Ward (Mother Sun), James Bingsが参加し、ミックスは Emilio Pagnotta (Mother Sun)、マスタリングは David Parryが担当。

“Don’t Mind the Cold was a product of newfound inspiration after coming to possess a special old guitar. The song was written in late December during a stagnant stretch of the holidays. I think the lyrics reflect a sense of needing to stay busy and to steer away from wishful thinking - but instead to enjoy the days for what they are. After demoing the song, I enlisted the help of friends at Holy Cow Studio, and bandmate James Bings. It was the first studio recording I had done and it was amazing to see how the song evolved with a more collaborative process, with everyone naturally bringing their own styles. I think as a result, the song reflects the positive, easy-going vibe of the session.”

'Don't Mind The Cold'は、特別な古いギターを手に入れたことで新たなインスピレーションを得ました。この曲は、12月下旬の休日の停滞期に書きました。この歌詞には、忙しくしていなければならないという感覚と、希望的観測から遠ざかり、その代わりにありのままの日々を楽しもうという感覚が反映されていると思います。この曲のデモを作った後、Holy Cow Studioの友人とバンドメイトのJames Bingsの助けを借りました。初めてスタジオ・レコーディングをしたんだけど、みんながそれぞれのスタイルを自然に持ち寄り、より協力的なプロセスで曲が進化していくのを見るのは素晴らしかったです。結果的に、この曲はセッションのポジティブで気楽な雰囲気を反映していると思います。
