カリフォルニア州ロサンゼルス拠点のインディーロックアーティスト Cherry Blondeが、7/31にリリースしたニューシングル 'superglue'のMVを公開！
ディレクターは Digita 98。
昨年のデビューシングル以来、急速に目にするようになった新鋭。
共同作曲で、先月末に紹介した Dolo Tonightと、Roe Kapara, marc indigoなどの作品に携わってきた Mandicimoが参加。彼らも良いです。
“I struggle with navigating feelings of love & overindulgence of desire. When I first meet someone and feel those fireworks, my anxiety kicks in, and my only goal is to make sure that it doesn’t fade away. That quickly leads to complicated interpersonal relationships where emotions between both people get intense, heated, and sometimes toxic. I write about that struggle; The feeling of knowing something is bad for me, but not being able to resist the temptation.”
私は、愛や欲望の過剰な追求に伴う感情をうまく扱うのが苦手です。誰かに出会って花火が上がるような感覚を覚えると、不安が一気に押し寄せてきて、その気持ちが消えないようにすることだけが目標になってしまいます。すると、すぐに複雑な人間関係に陥り、互いの感情が激しく、熱く、そして時には有害なものになってしまうのです。私はその葛藤について書いています。自分にとって良くないと分かっていながら、それでも抗えない誘惑に引き寄せられてしまう感覚について。
