ニューヨーク/ブルックリン拠点のデュオ Boyishが、12/3にリリースしたニューシングル 'Smithereens'のMVを公開！
ディレクターは Axel Kabundji。
Boyishはバークリー音楽大学で出会ったシンガーソングライター India Shore, ギタリスト Claire Altendahlの2人組です。
'Smithereens'は来年初めに発売予定のEP収録曲。爽やかな風が吹いてます。1月からRemo Driveとのツアーが始まるとのことで、徐々に目にする機会が多くなりそうですね。
“‘Smithereens’ was written very fast compared to other songs we’ve written. Basically, the melody and chords came in a one hour writing session. We wanted to write something with a similar groove of ‘Swingin Party’ by The Replacements so we started with a drum groove and then a chord progression and then the melody just flew out. We usually take a lot of time to write so we were both pretty taken aback when suddenly this song just existed.”
