イングランド/ニューカッスル拠点のインディーロックバンド Big Romanceが、7/19にリリースしたニューシングル 'Self Medicate'を公開！
レコーディングは Alex Blamire (Polestar Studios)と共に行い、プロデュースは Paul Gregory (Lanterns On The Lake)が担当。
メロディーはいつも通りキャッチーだけど、サウンド面は前回のグランジっぽかったシングル 'Messed Up'や、これまでの曲と比べてもかなり落ち着いた曲。

'Self Medicate'は、絶望的な内省の日陰に閉じ込められ、ノスタルジーに安らぎを求めつつも、最終的には前に進む世界と折り合いをつけようともがく暖かい日々を、切なくも楽観的に描いている。
