カリフォルニア州ロサンゼルス拠点のLo-Fiロックバンド Bedbugが、1/3にDisposable Americaからリリースしたニューシングル 'halo on the interstate'を公開！
Bedbugはボストン出身の Dylan Gamez Citronによるソロプロジェクトとして始まったバンド。
これまでに Run for Cover, Joy Void, Z Tapesからリリースし、Japanese Breakfast, Strange Ranger, Frog, Lomelda, Grouper, Snail Mail, yourarmsaremycocoonと共演してます。
'halo on the interstate'は3/15発売のニューアルバム『pack your bags the sun is growing』収録曲。アルバムとしては約4年振りで、フルバンドのレコーディングは今回が初となる作品。
最初のギターが鳴った時点でこれまでの作品とは全く違うことが分かって、いつものヘナヘナ声がその調子を保ちつつも感情的な高まりを持ってたことに驚きました。
