イングランド/リーズ拠点のオルタナティヴロックバンド Beauty Schoolが、5/22にSlam Dunk Recordsからリリースしたニューシングル 'Reaper feat. Dan Campbell'を公開！
Beauty Schoolは2022年に James Kenosha (Dinosaur Pile-Up, Pulled Apart by Horses)プロデュースでデビューアルバム『Happiness』を発表したバンド。
これまでに State Champs, The Bottom Line, Bowling for Soup, Less Than Jakeとツアーを行い、レーベルを代表するイベント Slam Dunk Festivalに出演してます。
'Reaper'はThe Wonder Yearsとのツアー中に書いた曲で、ボーカリスト Dan Campbellが参加。
エモ寄りのポップパンクバンドの中でオルタナ寄りっていう、うるさすぎる書き方しか出来ないけど、個人的にはそういう印象のバンド。バランスが良い。最近のこっち系の音は全然チェックできてないから、No SleepとかHopelessとかレーベルごとにまとめて聴きたいな。
