イングランド/ロンドン出身のミュージシャン・ソングライター Al Costelloeが、9/7にリリースしたニューシングル 'The Other Side'のMVを公開！
ディレクターは Jesse Wong。
12歳の頃から演奏してきた根っからのバンドマンで、Pull In Emergency (Mute), Big Deal (Mute), Superfood (Dirty Hit)のメンバーとして活動してきた人です。輝かしいキャリアの裏で世界中を移動する生活や人間関係に疲れたのちに音楽活動を辞めた時期もあって、Covidのロックダウン期間中に今回の新しいプロジェクトを始めたそう。
'The Other Side'は自身のベッドルームと Max Bloom (Yuck)のスタジオでレコーディングした楽曲で、The Velvet Underground 'Beginning to see the light'にインスパイアを受けたとのこと。
“The Other Side is about finding happiness after a dark time. It was written towards the end of the first national lockdown and embodies an optimistic hopefulness for the future.”
