クラシックソウル、パンク、サイケデリックロックに影響を受けたガレージバンドで、コアメンバーは Guy Keltner, Ian Cunninghamの2人です。
パリ、ニューヨーク、ロンドン、メキシコシティ、ロサンゼルスにツアーメンバー兼スタジオミュージシャンが点在していて、彼らとローテーションを組むユニークな活動形態です。
'Acid on the Dancefloor'は4/12発売のニューアルバム『Acid on the Dance Floor』のタイトル曲。前作『Arboretum』は Death Valley Girls, Naked Giants, Calvin Loveが参加した良作なので未聴の方はぜひ。
“This song was inspired by taking acid and going out dancing. I have overdone it with LSD on a handful of occasions, and the results have been terrifying. What sort of person drops acid and goes to a dance club? I asked myself this question and then I wrote this song.” - Guy Keltner
この曲は、アシッドを摂取して踊りに出かけたことからインスピレーションを得た。何度かLSDをやり過ぎたことがあるが、その結果は恐ろしいものだった。アシッドを摂取してダンスクラブに行く人とはどんな人だろう？自問自答して、この曲を書いたんだ。- Guy Keltner
