スウェーデン出身のフォークロックアーティスト Kristoffer Gripが、10/10にCarnelian Dream Recordingsからリリースしたデビューシングル 'Lightest Heart'のMVを公開！
Kristoffer Gripは、2005~2017年までポストパンクバンド Agent Side Grinderのボーカリストを務めていたシンガー。
'Lightest Heart'は来春発売予定のデビューアルバム『Wildest Hope』収録曲。
プロデュースは Henrik Sunbring (oplen, Agent Side Grinder, Domus), Emanuel Lundgren (I'm from Barcelona, Loney Dear)が務め、演奏に前述の2人に加え、Emil Svanängen, Lina Langendorfが参加し、ミックスは Henrik Sunbringが担当。
音楽的にいえばゴスフォーク、まっすぐ表現するなら南部ゴシックの音楽版って感じで、このムードが好きな人にはたまらないと思います。
“Lightest Heart is the name of my first single as a solo artist, a song that in many ways captures the essence of what I want to do with music and art. It touches on life, love, dream, fear, crisis and to find a hope, in spite of it all, of the wildest kind. I wrote it at the beginning of this year, during what felt lika an unusually dark winter, and the world unusually crazy. I needed to write about it, to sing about it, and I realized somehow that hope is an act in itself, a wild leap, a foolishness to meet the madness with. Give me an eye, a hand, a soul that still clings to a song, because sometimes the unexpected happens in the shape of music that must come to be.”
