イングランド/ハロゲート出身のオルタナティヴロックアーティスト Niall Summertonが、11/13にTiny Library RecordsからリリースしたEP『Tread Water』より、'No One'を公開！
まっすぐ良い曲だけが入ってるEPで、Joel Johnston (Far Caspian)のプロデュースも冴え渡ってます。
質感は Dusterで、人懐っこさは The Magnetic Fieldsみたいな魅力を持ってる人ですね。
“I wrote this one after listening to loads of 90s slack post rock stuff. Wanted a really simple cruiser that you could just nod your head along to. Sometimes that's all i want when writing songs.”
この曲は、90年代のスラック・ポスト・ロックを聴きまくって書いたんだ。ただ一緒にうなずけるような、本当にシンプルなクルーザーが欲しかったんだ。曲を作るとき、それがすべてだったりするんだ。
