Mon Rayon、'My Heroine'を公開

スウェーデン/ストックホルム拠点の Josef, Christofferによるインディーポップデュオ Mon Rayonが、10/18にFlak Recordsからリリースしたニューシングル 'My Heroine'を公開！

6月のシングル 'Will I Have Your Love Tomorrow'で好きになってから常にチェックしてるバンド。

今回はバロックポップと60年代のフランスのマカロニ・ウェスタンを融合させた楽曲とのことで、来年初め発売予定のデビューEP『Post Romantic Stress Disorder』収録曲。

この芳醇な音楽性もさることながら、その制作に必要な全工程(作曲・録音・プロデュース・ミックス・マスタリング)をすべて2人で出来るのがすごい。

“‘My Heroine’ tells the story of a young heroine who bravely ventures into this battlefield of devotion. Amidst the despair and ruins, even in the darkest moments, life persists as the soil continues to give new life. Despite being wounded numerous times in these battles, she finds solace in the lilies that sing a song of redemption and restoration. The natural order dictates that something must be broken down to be rebuilt anew. Though sorrow and grief are inevitable, they are temporary, and the time to live again is now.”

'My Heroine'は、この献身的な戦場に勇敢に足を踏み入れた若きヒロインの物語である。絶望と廃墟の中、最も暗い瞬間でさえ、土が新たな生命を与え続けるように、生命は持続する。この戦いで何度も傷を負いながらも、彼女は救済と回復の歌を歌う百合の花に慰めを見出す。自然の摂理は、何かを壊さなければ、新しく生まれ変わることはできないと定めている。悲しみや嘆きは避けられないが、それは一時的なものであり、再び生きる時が今なのだ。
