Romi O wrote “Golden Teacher” from a place of profound thankfulness right after undergoing a highly spiritual experience. This song represents a turning point in her struggles with depression, something she found herself grappling with ever since she was only a child. It can be difficult to cope with such challenging personal tribulations, but music can be a great way to make sense of this, not only as something to share with the audience but also as a mean of self-reflection and healing.
