スコットランド/グラスゴー拠点のポストパンクバンド Blush Clubが、7/1にリリースしたニューシングル 'Ornamental Ponds'を公開！
9月発売予定のEP収録曲。
地元のベニュー King Tut’sに出演してたバンドマン同士で組んだバンド。前回の記事で「1年でガラッと音楽性が変わりそうな粗さや青さ」って書いて、まだ1年経ってないのにそれらを感じさせますね。ねじれたリフとキャッチーなメロディが好き。
たぶん現行のポストパンクをフォローしてると思うんですけど、このままの勢いで突き抜けたら XTCやある時期の Stephen Malkmusみたいなサウンドになって大化けしそうな予感。
