ニューヨーク出身のコレクティヴ・バンド Teachersが、7月にリリースしたシングル 'Ocean'のMVを公開！
フロントマンを務める Ben Bronfmanは、ワーナー・ミュージック・グループの元CEO Edgar Bronfman Jr.の息子で、M.I.A.の元旦那、The Exitの元ボーカル、Kanye Westの 'New Slaves'を手がけたプロデューサー(原曲はTeachersのデモ)...と、いろんな面で有名なお方。
“We wanted to do something joyous and fun, to look almost like you stumbled upon an African video from the 80's. The houses in the Ocean video were destroyed by Hurricane Sandy, and reimagined into an art installation by Katharina Grosse. It's a way for us to build in a subconscious environmental theme into a video in which you might not think about it.”
